WHY CRYOBUILT IS BETTER
SAFER THAN GAS
Most cold therapy uses nitrogen gas to achieve ultra-low temperatures. But it’s poisonous and the client’s head needs to be outside the chamber with ventilation systems operating. Whole-body cryotherapy uses electricity to produce cold, refrigerated air, similar to a large freezer. Electric systems have walk-in rooms that can hold 1-5 people and the freshly oxygenated air is safe to breathe.
MORE EFFECTIVE COOLING
The head controls most of your body temperature, so keeping it out of the chamber slows the body’s cooling process. Nitrogen gas begins warming the moment it leaves the bottle, and with an open top, that happens quickly. Electricity immediately and consistently cools the chamber.
