Welcome to the world of cryotherapy! If you’re ready to start using your CryoBuilt chamber, follow these simple steps to ensure a safe and effective session.
Step 1: Gear Up
Before stepping in, make sure you’re dressed in the essentials: shoes, gloves, ear coverings, and an optional mask. This gear keeps you comfortable throughout your session by protecting sensitive areas from the extreme cold.
Step 2: Set Your Preferences
Once you’re ready, approach the chamber’s control screen. Select your session level, desired temperature, and even the color of the chamber lighting. For a more personalized experience, you can connect Bluetooth headphones for your favorite tunes.
Step 3: Start Your Session
Hit the ‘Begin Your Session’ button. You’ll have a 15-second window to enter the chamber, allowing you to comfortably step inside before the session begins.
Step 4: Follow the Lights
Once inside, colored lights guide you through the session duration. When the lights fully change colors, that’s your signal that your session is complete.
Step 5: Exit and Confirm
After your session, step out of the chamber and press the ‘Chamber Safe’ button on the control screen. This important step lets the system know you’ve safely exited. If the button isn’t pressed, the chamber will automatically sound an alarm, shut down, and release ambient air to safely open the door. And that’s it! You’re now ready to enjoy the benefits of cryotherapy with CryoBuilt.
CryoBuilt’s all-electric system provides an ideal alternative to nitrogen-based chambers, allowing users to benefit from whole-body cryotherapy without compromising safety. In an electric chamber, users can safely experience extreme cold temperatures with full-body exposure, including their head. This added full-body exposure is not only safer but also allows for enhanced wellness benefits, as the head and neck area receive the same cooling effects as the rest of the body. With full exposure, CryoBuilt chambers stimulate a greater physiological response, promoting circulation, cell regeneration, and immune support across the entire body. Additionally, CryoBuilt’s electric system is easy to operate, requiring minimal setup and safety protocols, which reduces the chances of accidental mishandling. This makes CryoBuilt an excellent choice for gyms and wellness centers looking for safe, efficient recovery solutions.
CryoBuilt’s Commitment to Safety
Safety is CryoBuilt’s top priority, and the brand’s electric cryotherapy chambers are designed with built-in safety measures to ensure a secure experience for every user. In the world of athletic recovery, few debates are as "chilling" as Cryotherapy vs. Cold Plunge. Both use cold to boost recovery, but their differences could be the deciding factor for your routine.
1. Temperature Differences
Cryotherapy uses temperatures as low as -165°F for short bursts (2-3.5 minutes), triggering a rapid skin response that cools the body by around 40°F. This extreme cold initiates a range of benefits, including improved circulation, cell renewal, and a detoxifying effect as blood rushes to vital organs. On the other hand, cold plunges are more about endurance, lasting from 30 seconds to 15 minutes with water temperatures between 35°F and 65°F. This immersion leads to a 25°F drop, delivering targeted muscle recovery and often used in contrast therapy.
2. Comfort & Safety
Cryotherapy provides a quick, controlled cold experience without the risk of hypothermia. Cold plunges, while beneficial, may freeze muscle tissue if prolonged, making it essential to monitor time.
3. Ease of Use & Maintenance Cold plunges require the user to get wet and cause various health & safety concerns regarding cleanliness of water, slip & falls, and the need to change into and out of wet clothing. Cryo chambers on the other hand, do not require the user to get wet or have any contact of skin or body parts with the product, allowing for a much easier, more enjoyable experience, with less maintenance. When cold water touches your skin, it is very uncomfortable, especially compared to cold, crisp, dry air.
In short, both are great, but Cryotherapy is a more comfortable, effective, and enjoyable, luxurious experience.
